Kenyan soccer champions Gor Mahia exited the CAF Confederations Cup Sunday night after losing to Moroccan side RSB Berkane by five goals to one in a quarter-final second leg clash that was played at Municipal Stadium of Morocco.
Berkane emerged 7-1 winners on aggregate after a 2-0 win in the first leg in Nairobi.
Gor under the tutelage of Hassan Oktay conceded first in the 21st minute after Kodjo Fo Doh opened the goal fest for Berkane.
Kogalo equalized through Lawrence Juma three minutes later but Berkane added a second goal through Mohamed Aziz before El Helali made it 3-1.
Dayo and Essaiydy scored a goal apiece to make it 5-1.
Berkane will now play against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the semi-finals following a 2-1 win over Zambian side Nkana Fc last night.
Meanwhile, Egyptian side Zamalek will play against Tuesday’s winner between Al Hilal and Etoile Sahel.
Zamalek beat Moroccan side Husa 1-0 last night to seal a place in the semi-finals.
The first leg of the semi-final matches will be played between 28th to 29th April.
