Gor Mahia FC will depart for Kinshasa, DRC on Friday ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup play-Offs match against Motema Pembe this Sunday.
Motema Pembe have an advantage in the tie after a 1-1 draw in the first leg played at the Kasarani stadium on Sunday, and Gor Mahia must win or register a draw of more than two goals to qualify to the group stages to be assured of 27 million shillings for preparations.
Unlike Motema who camped in Rwanda for 3 days, Gor Mahia will head straight to Kinshasa, two days before the encounter.
K’ogalo are seeking to seal a group stage berth for the third consecutive season while Motema are aiming for a return after an eight-year absence.
Gor Mahia’s counterparts Bandari will face Horoya of Guinea at the Kasarani stadium on Sunday.
Bandari must overcome the two-goal deficit in order to qualify for the group stages of the event after they suffered a 4-2 loss away to Horoya FC.
