Gor Mahia head coach Jose Ze Maria Fereira says his side has to win the remaining five league matches to have a chance of retaining the Sportpesa Premier League title for the fourth time consecutively.
“Kogallo” are four points adrift of leaders Tusker FC after losing ground over the weekend where they played to a barren draw against bottom placed Sofapaka FC.
The Brazilian tactician said there are no two ways about it they have to bag maximum points in their remaining encounters including their last game against Tusker FC hoping that the Brewers will drop points in one of their remaining four fixtures.
Tusker leads the log with 48 points while Gor Mahia is second with 44 points.
The Brewers have a chance of bagging their 11th league title this season, their first since 2012. The league has taken a two weeks break to pave way for GOtv matches and International Friendlies.
