Reigning Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia have been invited to play two friendly matches in Sudan against Al Hilal and Al Khartoum.

Team manager Jolawi Obondo said that they will play their first match on Wednesday and the second one this Saturday.

Gor Mahia has just returned from Ethiopia where they beat St. Georges 5-4 on post match penalties in another friendly played at Addis Ababa Stadium.

The team will use the friendly matches to prepare to represent Kenya in CAF Champions League for the third season in a row having won the 2015 league unbeaten.

They will open their KPL title defence against Chemelil Sugar at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu City on the 17th of next month.
