Gor Mahia to retain KPL title if they beat Vihiga United

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) defending Champions Gor Mahia will retained their title for the third time in a row if they beat Vihiga United FC Wednesday afternoon at the Machakos County Stadium.

KO’galo defeated AFC Leopards 3-0 over the weekend and now tops the league standings with 69 points, eight ahead of second place Bandari FC.

If they win, the Hassan Oktay’s team will achieve an assailable lead of 72 points and win the KPL title for the 18th time.

Second placed Bandari will face Mathare United at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani while Sofapaka will take on Chemelil sugar at the Machakos County Stadium.

Ulinzi Stars will host Kariobangi Sharks at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru while Nzoia Sugar face KCB at Sudi Stadium.

Posta Rangers travel to Kisumu to play Western Stima and Kakamega Homeboys take on Sony Sugar at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
