Handball league hots up

KBC Sportsdesk.

The race for this season’s national handball league title is on the homestretch with several teams still with a chance to be crowned the 2016 champions.

NCPB had an easy time in their match yesterday against Sparklers thrashing their opponents 45-12 in a one sided game played at the St Paul’s University.

NCPB controlled the match from the start and despite their defence being breached more than ten times, their attacking superiority was unmatched by their opponents.

KDF and MKU Eldoret engaged in a closely contested encounter which witnessed only 10 goals, all scored by KDF who went on to beat Dedan Kimathi by the same margin.

The race for the men’s title is also heating up as Ulinzi edged closer to lifting this season’s title by beating Rangers 43-27.
