Harambee Starlets’ striker Esse Akida has completed a move to Israel top flight side Hapoel Morasha Ramat HaSharon FC in a two year deal.
Akida has been in trials with the Israeli side for the past two weeks and finally inked a deal on Thursday.
The forward signed for Thika Queens in June this year from Kenya Women Premier League side Spedag FC before being invited for trials by the Israeli club.
Akida, a mainstay in the Kenya women national team joins Mary Kinuthia, Terry Engesha and Chris Nafula as the latest Starlets player to leave the country for greener pastures overseas.
The striker who has 15 goals in 36 appearances for the national team will wear the number 14 jersey in her new club.
