Harambee Stars move camp from Addis Ababa

Kenya soccer team, Harambee Stars has moved their camp from Addis Ababa International stadium to Awassa; a town located over 400 kilometers away, to face Burundi Wednesday in their second game of the on Going CECAFA senior challenge Cup in Ethiopia.

Kenya beat Uganda 2-0 in their opener on Sunday to register their first win against Uganda in more than a decade.

Burundi also won their first game 1-0 against stubborn Zanzibar to make tomorrow’s game a must win for both sides.

Meanwhile, Tanzania will be seeking to consolidate their lead in group ‘A’ when they face Rwanda in their second game at 4pm this afternoon.

Both sides won their opening games against Somalia and host Ethiopia respectively. In the other encounter starting at 2pm, Zanzibar will have a date with Uganda Cranes.

Two top teams from each group plus the best 2 third place finishers will qualify into the quarter finals.

The final of the tournament will be played on the 5th or of next month in Addis Ababa.
