Harambee Stars- Sudan friendly postponed to next week

The much awaited international friendly match between Harambee stars and Sudan which was scheduled to be played on Friday at the Nyayo national stadium has been postponed and will now take place on Tuesday next week.

The move follows Sudan’s inability to make it to Nairobi in time for the kick-off that was scheduled for Friday at 5pm.

Sudan is expected to arrive in Nairobi Friday morning. However the match pitting Harambee stars and Tanzania will go on as planned on Sunday at the Nyayo Nationals stadium.

Tanzania’s, Taifa Stars is expected to arrive in Nairobi on Friday morning ahead of their friendly encounter against Kenya on Sunday.

Both teams will use the tie as preparations for the respective Africa Cup of nation qualifier matchess where Taifa Stars face Egypt as Stars host Congo on 5th of next month.
