Hillary Echesa officially retires from football

Former Tusker FC, Chemelil Sugar and Sofapaka midfielder Hillary Echesa has officially announced his retirement.

Echesa began his career at the age of 16 and featured for Transcom FC and Nakuru Youth Olympic Centre.

The veteran midfielder has played for over 16 clubs in Kenya and abroad including the now defunct Mumias Sugar, Nzoia Sugar, and Nakuru All Stars among others.

He won the league title with Tusker FC in 2011.

Outside the Kenyan borders, Echesa has played for Yanga, Rayon Sport, Simba, Malaysian sides PDRM FA, MP Muar, NS Betaria F.C. and  Detras in Indonesia.
