House help kidnaps 3 year old baby

A family in Matuguta village at Githunguri in Kiambu County is in extreme anxiety after a house girl allegedly disappeared with their 3 year old son.

Stella Baraza who hails from Kakamega County, has been Ryan’s nanny for the past 3 years.

Florence Njeri mother to Ryan Tangi poured out her sadness saying that she had lived with the househelp as family. At no time did she ever imagine Stella would take away her son.

She had taken her son and Stella upcountry to visit her mother Susan Nyambura.

Trouble began when Susan left the homestead to buy medication for her grandson only to come back home and find the boy and the housegirl missing.

Florence claims she later received a phone call from the girl, purportedly in Kakamega County, claiming the toddler was unwell and asking her to check on her son.

A disturbed Florence made way to Githunguri where she found only a few clothes and toys in Ryan’s bedroom.

Ryan’s mother is now calling on Stella to return her child as the family is in deep pain and agony.

The matter has already been reported to Githunguri Police Station where investigations are underway.
