IEBC’s ICT director goes missing

A search is on for a senior an IT employee of The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) who is missing.

Police, family and friends as well as the employer are all looking for Christopher Musando, a Data Center and Infrastructure manager at IEBC, whose whereabouts are unknown.

IEBC tweeted about Mr. Musando’s disappearance stating that the last communication from Mr. Musando was an SMS to one of his colleagues at around 3am on Saturday.

A missing person report has been filed at the Embakasi Police division by his wife who states that he was last seen on Friday at Anniversary towers at 10pm.

His vehicle is also missing.

Mr. Musando is the acting ICT director for IEBC. The previous occupant of the office, James Muhati, was sent on compulsory leave in late May after allegedly failing to cooperate with an audit process.
