The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in conjunction with the State broadcaster-Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) will Monday night conduct a mock balloting exercise.
The simulation exercise that will take place in KBC studios at 9 pm during Prime Edition with Tom Mboya is aimed at creating awareness on the voting procedure ahead of the August 9 election that is 35 days away.
The set-up is complete with a polling booth, ballot box, voting materials and a polling clerk who will demonstrate how the actual voting process will look like on election day.

Voters will also be taken through the process of marking their ballot papers.
22.1 million voters will cast their votes to pick Kenya’s 5th President in a race that has attracted four Presidential candidates. Other elective seats are in the National and County Assemblies.
The commission last week took the presidential candidates through the voter identification process and the security measures in place to ensure the system is secure and not prone to any form of abuse or infiltration.
