AFC Leopards bounced back to winning ways with a deserved 2-0 victory over Bandari in their Football Kenya Federation Premier League match at Thika Sub County Stadium on Friday.
Ingwe needed to respond following Sunday’s 4-2 penalty shootout loss to Gor and they did so with a solid display in Thika with Robert Mudenyu and Peter Thiong’o finding the goals in the second half.

The win means Leopards, who are bidding to end a two-decade long league title drought, are placed third on the standings on 43 points with KCB FC who play Tusker on Sunday three points clear in second while the loss left the dockers on eighth place with 33 points after playing 23 games.
Patrick Aussems coached side played without a reserve goalkeeper on the bench after the contracts of the other custodians at the club expired last week.
At the Nakuru ASK grounds, Wazito emerged 2-0 winners over Vihiga United who are using the ground for their home games following the Covid restrictions in place by the Government in the Western part of the country.
