Jesus swaps Manchester City for Arsenal in a £45m move

Arsenal  have signed Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus on a five-year deal for £45million.

The 25-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Emirates since the end of last season.

Arteta is desperate for reinforcements up top after Alexandre Lacazette left for Lyon.

Jesus scored 95 goals in 236 appearances for Man City after arriving at the club for £27m in January 2017.

He joins high-profile signing Fabio Vieira – who signed with the Gunners for £30m earlier this summer.

The attacking midfielder made the switch from Porto as Arteta looks to bolster his squad ready for the new season.
