Judiciary is impartial, says CJ Maraga

Chief Justice David Maraga has refuted claims that the judiciary is divided along tribal lines.

Maraga says the judicial system has remained impartial in its ruling of nomination petitions, urging the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to be patient as the Judiciary works on clearing the backlog of cases before the courts.

Maraga spoke when he officially opened the Judges Annual Conference in Mombasa.
