Kajiado County Govt roll out ambitious road network program

Transport challenges that have bedeviled a large part of Kajiado County are set to ease after the county administration commenced rehabilitation works for roads connecting the vast county.

The county government plans to fix 10,000 kilometers of bad roads over the next two months.

Construction works for the 10 kilometers Umma university-Naserian village road has already begun at a cost of 10 Million Shillings..ups..

Kajiado County Deputy Governor Martin Moshisho says the county government remains committed to improve the region’s infrastructure by rehabilitating impassable feeder roads to the villages in an effort to open up the region for development.

The development has won accolades from local leaders and residents even as they called on the national government to increase funding to devolved units.
