Wiper Democratic Movement Leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka has Friday commissioned close to 200 leaders from Kisii and Nyamira counties for a massive voter sensitization exercises in the two counties.

The Wiper Leader who met with the Leaders at the Wiper offices Friday urged them to use their potential as party agents to mobilize every voter who has not being registered and also sensitize those who had registered to verify their status to avert what befell him two days ago.

He narrated the shock he went through in Wajir after realizing that he shared his identity card with another Kenyan a Salome Njoroge.

“What I make of that and I might be wrong is now an attempt to rig the upcoming elections. This is not acceptable” said Kalonzo

Kalonzo said the only way for Kenyans to get the leadership they deserve, and which will work for them, is by massively registering as voters in readiness for the August 8th General Election.

The delegation, which was led by Governor aspirant on a Wiper ticket in Kisii County, Lumumba Nyaberi, Nyamira Governor aspirant Justice (Rtd.) David Onyancha and Borabu Wiper legislator Ben Momanyi, assured the Wiper leader that they will mobilize voters in the two counties to register and later vote for the Wiper Leader.

He added that he and other leaders from the Kisii Region are committed to supporting Kalonzo.

Nyaberi pledged to stand with the Wiper Leader and encouraged him not to relent in his quest for the flagship of the Opposition ticket

Mr. Momanyi said it is encouraging to see that many leaders have opted to join Wiper adding that the presence of close to 200 leaders who have pledged their support for the Wiper Leader gives clear indication of where the nation is heading.

Others who accompanied Mr. Nyaberi, Justice Onyancha and Mr. Momanyi, were aspirants for Senators, MPs Women Reps and MCAs drawn from the entire Gusii Region.

At the same breath, the Wiper Leader assured the aspirants that the Opposition Coalition will win the next election with a landslide, adding that he is confident of clinching the converted ticket and send Jubilee home.

Kalonzo said he was not angling for endorsement from his Co-Principals but rather, responding to the call from the masses who believe in his leadership and ability to transform this country.

He will from Monday kick start a countrywide tour on voter sensitization in Narok, Kisii and Nyamira County’s.
