Karua rallies Mt. Kenya to support Raila as campaigns end

Azimio la Umoja one Kenya presidential running mate Martha Karua has rallied Kirinyaga residents to make history by producing the country’s first ever Deputy President.

Speaking at Kirigo Primary during the final round of campaigns Karua urged the electorate to turn up in large numbers to support Raila Odinga’s bid saying he is the best suited to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking in her mother tongue Karua said the Tuesday 9th election will propel the region to the second highest political office if the residents support their bid.

Karua said President Uhuru in endorsing Raila has the best interests for the Mt Kenya region at heart hitting out at politicians spreading hate and misinformation on the handshake.

She hit out at the deputy president William Ruto accusing him of disrespecting the President and implored on the entire Mt Kenya voters to shun his bid saying they shouldn’t support someone who has no respects for their kin.

Karua said the Azimio Government will provide employment for the youth, avail resources for small scale business as well as give priority to Agriculture to enhance the livelihood of farmers.

She took time to drum up support for Azimio candidates in the region urging Kirinyaga residents to support Senator Charles Kibiro as their Gubernatorial candidate as well as Lenny Kivuti in Embu, Nderitu Mureithi in Laikipia among others.
She called for peaceful elections saying Kenyans across the country should shun politicians spreading hate and ethnic violence.
