Kenya Broadcasting Corporation managing director Dr. Naim Bilal has assured the KBC-KECOSO team of his full support going into the next edition of the games to be held next year.
KBC were crowned champions of Scrabble and Snooker during the 40th edition of the annual games which ended on Saturday in Kisii County.
The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation team to the 40th edition of the KECOSO games in Kisii County was welcomed back home Wednesday by managing director Dr Naim Bilal following their successful outing.
Despite sending the smallest contingent to the eight-day games, KBC managed to lift the Snooker and Scrabble titles.
Bilal continued to say that despite the many challenges facing the Corporation, KBC will be represented at the coming editions having missed participation in the 39th edition held last year.
KBC also managed to sit third on the overall standings with two titles behind overall champions KPA and second placed KCAA.
Impressed with the performance of the team, Bilal urged the players to start early their preparations for the next edition which will be held at a venue yet to be decided by the KECOSO governing council with Mombasa, Meru and Narok leading the list of contenders.
Only a team of 37 players travelled to Kisii for the games and competed in four disciplines namely; Snooker, Scrabble, Pool and ladies netball.
