Whisky is the most popular alcoholic gift preference for Kenyans.
It is no secret that Kenyans looove to gift each other alcohol during the Christmas season. Every time we show up at someone’s house this month, we’ve got a bottle (or can) in hand and even on Christmas day, we wrap up bottles and present them to our loved ones. It is with this fact in mind that The Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has unveiled the 2020 Festive Gifting catalogue.
The festive catalogue aims to give Kenyans who are above the legal purchase age a wide array of alcoholic beverages to gift their loved ones during the festive season. The catalogue is a calendar which provides information to guide selection of the ideal gift for next 30 days. It will be available on KBL’s website and digital channels, social media and selected off-trade outlets, offers over 24 alcoholic beverages to choose from such as gins, whisky’s, vodkas, liqueurs, rum as well as beers and ciders.
KBL, through Diageo, has collaborated with London-based designer, Richard Malone, to design Johnnie Walker bespoke gift pack range. According to EABL Head of Spirits, Ms Flavia Othim, the festive catalogue has been compiled by qualified Diageo brand ambassadors and offers a menu of cocktail recipes to inspire people to drink better as they celebrate the festive period.
On the gifting list are wide variety of brands from the EABL family, including Ron Zacapa Don Julio, Tanqueray No. Ten Gin, and Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Scotch Whisky.
