National Super League outfit KCB Football Club has opened talks with several players in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) and National Super League (NSL) as it seeks to bolster the lineup.
This is after the Club released twelve players from its current squad in a move aimed at reconfiguring the squad as the NSL enters the crucial second phase.
The Club management said this was part of its strategy to return to its winning ways as the NSL enters a crucial second phase with an eye at fighting its way back to the Premier League.
“We have made the hard decision of letting the players go since they didn’t perform as expected in the NSL league and we have mutually agreed to allow them to find other clubs where they can fit in well”, said KCB FC Head Coach Leonard Saleh. “We are wishing all the twelve players well in their football endeavors. We are in the market shopping for strong players as we seek to return to the main league” he added.
The players who have been axed by the club includes Augustine Eshiwani, Christopher Nyamao, Fredrick Ojwang, Peter Mwachi, Jack Opere, Victor Okullu, Evans Maliachi, Oneill Omondi, Raymond Murugi, Dennis Wanyoile, Moses Ouma and George Omondi who was suspended by FKF for one year.
KCB FC is sponsored by KCB Group.
