Kenya Harlequins’ duo of Patrice Agunda and Dennis Muhanji has been named in the Kenya A squad that will clash against Hong Kong in a friendly match tomorrow night at the Impala Grounds, before facing off again in an International test match on Saturday at the RFUEA grounds.
Former Simbas and Kenya Sevens skipper Innocent Simiyu will captain the 23 man squad that is set to face Hong Kong, which also includes the likes of KCB’s Oscar Simiyu, Mwamba’s Michael Agevi, George Asin and Homeboyz’ Leonard Mugaisi.
Tomorrow’s fixture will serve as a curtain raiser to the test match between the two nations on Saturday at the RFUEA grounds.
Kenya 15’s team manager Wangila Simiyu is confident of the squad that was named today morning, which hosts a number of young and Internationally inexperienced players including Kabras Sugar George Nyambua, immediate former Kenya U19 skipper Tyson Okoth, KCB’s Peter Kilonzo and Homeboyz Philip Ikambili.
Cyprian Kuto returns to the team for the first time in 2016 and will start at the wing as well as Enock Makinga while Peter Kilonzo will be a center.
Others named include Dennis Karani, George Nyambua, Eric Kerrre, Martin Owila and Dan Sikuta, among others.
