Kenya bags her first medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic games

Kenya today bagged her first medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic games after Nancy Chelangat won a bronze medal in the women’s 1500m-T11 category at the Olympic Stadium. Chelangat clocked 4 minutes 45.58 seconds to finish third behind Rodriguez Saavedra of Mexico and Coetzee Louzane of South Africa who won gold and silver respectively.
