Kenya battles Singapore in ICC World Cricket League

National Cricket team will face Singapore on Friday and  Denmark on Sunday in their fourth ICC World Cricket League Division three match at the Al Marat in Oman.

The David Obuya charges will be hoping to redeem themselves after losing their previous three matches.

The team was beaten by hosts Oman by five wickets in opener then lost to United States by 158 runs and was beaten by Uganda by 50 overs in their third match on Tuesday.

Kenya lie fifth on the league standings with 2 points while hosts Oman tops the standings with 6 points two ahead of second placed United States.

The Kenyan team was relegated to ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League due to its poor run of results.

The top two teams will be promoted to the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament and the other four teams will play in the 2019–2021 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League.
