Kenya to face Chad today in an international friendly match

National Soccer team Harambee Stars, is set to  face Chad today evening in a  first FIFA international friendly match at the Marrakech stadium in Morocco from 6PM EAT.

Harambee Stars will use the match as a preparation for the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament, which will be held jointly by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania from 2nd to 30th August this year.

It will be the first meeting between Kenya, ranked 111, and Chad, which is ranked 177, according to FIFA rankings as of 3rd April this year.

Defenders: Brian Mandela, Alphoce Omija, Sylvester Owino, Siraj Mohammed, Abud Omar, Daniel Sakari, Swaleh Pamba, Lewis Bandi

Midfielders: Brian Musa, Alpha Onyango, Austine Odhiambo, Ben Stanley Omondi, Boniface Muchiri, Mohammed Bajaber, William Lenkupae, Adam Wilson, James Kinyanjui, David Sakwa,

Forwards: Beja Nyamawi, Moses Shumah, Emmanuel Osoro

The two sides will face each other in a 2nd match next Tuesday, 11th June, in the same venue.
