The Mint lounge in Bamburi hosted last week’s Tusker Lite neon rave party where Kenya’s most prolific rapper Khaligraph Jones performed. Jones, popularly known as ‘Papa Jones’, lit up the coastal town with an epic performance at the second edition of the fun-filled Tusker Lite neon rave party.

The neon raves are part of a campaign dubbed “Lite the way” launched in 2015 by Tusker Lite. The raves have been moving around major towns in the country and last week they made a pit stop at the beautiful coastal town. The big neon themed fun music fest attracted party folk from Bamburi area and its environs.

The crowd was entertained by the Dance Kitchen dancing group who acted as curtain-raisers for the headlining act. Khaligraph Jones entertained revellers with some of his most popular hits, performing songs like “Juu ya ngori”, “Wanjiru and Akinyi”, with the highlight of his performance being his most recent release featuring Lamaz Span KOB “Me siogopi”. Papa Jones also played “Mazishi” and “Yego”, bangers that kept revellers grooving throughout the night.
