The concert was held in Mombasa in honour of World Tourism Day

Over the weekend, Coasterians turned up in huge numbers for the concert in celebration of World Tourism Day at the Mama Ngina waterfront.
The event saw over 400 cyclists take part in the event with 200 of these cycling for over 480 KM from Nairobi to Mombasa.
Since COVID-19, many businesses have been hit hard due to the measures put in place by the government to prevent the spread of the disease. Among the worst-hit are restaurants, events and entertainments industries.
Although the measures are still in place, pictures surfacing online, seem to show that the people of Mombasa showed up in their thousands to watch Khaligraph Jones, Tanasha Donna and others perform. Other performers at the concert include Otile Brown, King Kaka and Masauti.
Sharing a post on her Instagram page, Tanasha wrote, “Huge thanks to our governor Ali Hassan Joho na kila kitu anachokifanya kujenga taifa letu and not to mention all he does to support our Kenyan entertainment industry.
Additionally, Khaligraph Jones shared a post on Instagram saying, “Damn, it feels good to be back again, Khaligraph is not a Rapper, Khaligraph is a Movement. Big shoutout to the baddest Governor Joho. You the realest!”
