Kilimani spiderman arrested for breaking into houses

Police in Kilimani have arrested Michael Joseph Otieno a man who had been nicknamed Spiderman for scaling walls and breaking into houses in the area.

Otieno who had been captured by a number of CCTV cameras scaling walls was arrested at Greenhouse Building with several laptops among other items.

Otieno alias Spiderman has been causing sleepless nights to the residents of Kilimani.

On February 10th, 2019 he managed to make away with a safe loaded with cash in one of the houses he broke into.

Otieno is believed to have been colluding with some of the security guards in the affected areas.

In a tweet by the Director of Criminal Investigation said the suspect was nabbed with several laptops, pliers, a cutter, a hacksaw, and a Ransack bag.

Meanwhile, one suspect has been arrested after crime detectives recovered a stolen mac book and several laptops from a shop at Kimathi House.

Members of the public who may have lost items have been urged to visit the officer in charge of serious crime unit and identify them.
