Harambee Starlets striker Mary Kinuthia says she is willing to join a local side once the Women’s Premier League kicks off later this year.

The diminutive attacker is currently based in Uganda where she features for Ugandan side Lady Cardinals in the Women’s league.

With the current federation under Nick Mwendwa promising to run a professionally managed women’s league in the country, the former Wiyeta Girls High School player is eager to join some of her teammates in the local league.

Kinuthia skippered Starlets against Algeria where they booked a ticket to the 2016 African Women’s Championship slated for later this year in Cameroon.

Internationally, Liverpool staged one of the most dramatic comebacks Anfield has seen to overcome German giants Borussia Dortmund and reach the Europa League semi-finals.

The Bundesliga side struck twice inside the first nine minutes through Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the latter scoring a 14-yard strike to take a 3-1 aggregate lead in the tie.

Divock Origi, Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho scored for ‘The Reds’ as Liverpool stood on the brink of something remarkable.

Dejan Lovren scored an injury time header from James Milner’s cross to hand Liverpool the win.

Defending champions Sevilla, Villareal and Shakhtar Donetsk all advanced to the semifinals of the Europa league after winning their respective quarterfinal matches.
