Kirinyaga farmers urged to plant drought resistant crops

Farmers in Kirinyaga county have been urged to plant seeds that can withstand depressed rains following predictions that the area might experience erratic short rains. Director of the Countys’ meteorological department Peter Wambugu says their forecast indicates that seasonal rainfall will be poorly distributed especially at the onset of October and the peak month of November.
