Konshens set to land in Kenya tomorrow night

Konshens is arriving in Nairobi tomorrow ahead of an electric jump-off concert.

Celebrated Jamaican Dancehall King Konshens is set to land in Kenya tomorrow night for a much-awaited concert in the city that will usher in the New Year in Carnivore on 31st December!

The #NRGWAVE will feature Kenya’s crème de la crème artistes including Sauti Sol, Fena, Benzema and Khaligraph in a fire combo geared to keep revellers on their feet as they celebrate the dawn of a new era after the crazy year that has been.

Konshens of Bruk Off and Do Sum’n fame has always had a soft spot for Kenya having performed in the country previously and has been looking forward to meet fans from his favourite country in the continent. Throughout this period, he has constantly been engaging fans online to assure them he is looking forward to an electric performance.

Just a month ago, doubt had been cast a to if Konshens would truly perform in the country. “Just got an update from my team, it’s not looking good” the celebrity had tweeted. This was after negotiations between him and local event organisers had begun to stall. It seems that the deal has finally been finalised as the ‘Backaz’ singer is on his way. As to whether he will perform in Mombasa too as he had alluded, we are yet to find out.

Last time Konshens was in Kenya was in September 2019.
