Kenya Premier League match between 17-time champions Gor Mahia and Sofapaka FC, which had been scheduled to be played on Saturday stadium has been moved to Sunday.
Kenya Premier League said in their twitter handle that they moved the match due to Gor Mahia’s travel constraints occasioned by lack of early flights out of Luanda to Nairobi.
The game which was supposed to take place in Machakos Saturday will now be played at the Afraha Stadium, Nakuru on Sunday.
The Hassan Oktay team was beaten 2-1 by Petro Atletico of Angola on Wednesday night in their second Group ‘D’ game of the CAF Confederations Cup, at the November 11 Stadium in Luanda.
Gor Mahia will face NA Hussein Dey of Algeria in their third match on the 24th of this month at Kasarani stadium in Nairobi.
Elsewhere, Bandari Fc which is currently sits second on the Kenya Premier League standings with 25 points will face Kariobangi Sharks without the services of Fred Nkata and Nicholas Meja.
The two players will join Wilberforce Lugogo who was injured while on duty in Tanzania.
The match fixture will played at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Chemil Sugar who are placed 15th on the log will face Nzoia Sugar at 8th position with 17 points having played 12 KPL matches. The match will be played in Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.
Eleven time KPL champions Tusker Fc who are 5th with 22 points will play Kakamega Homeboyz at Ruaraka Stadium.
