Lady Jaydee teams up with Jamaica’s Luciano for her new song “Anaweza”.

If you’re looking for a song to jam to this weekend, look no further than Lady Jaydee’s “Anaweza”. The songstress attached to the Taurus Musik Group just released the video on Youtube.

Lady Jaydee

Lady Jaydee has been in the East African entertainment industry for a number of years and in that time she has blessed us with hits such as ‘Yahaya’, ‘Ndi ndi ndi’ and her recent song ‘Baby’. She has received many awards acknowledging her talent both locally and internationally. These awards include Channel O Music Video Awards (2003), East African TV awards (2016), Tanzanian People’s Choice Awards (2015), to name just a few.

And she’s done it again with her new song, “Anaweza” featuring Jamaican singer Luciano Messenjah. Luciano, a favourite among reggae enthusiasts, is known for his songs such as “It’s me again Jah” and “Give praise”.

Singing the Kiswahili part of the song, Lady Jaydee, as always, wows with her sultry voice while Luciano accompanies her with his smooth baritone in English to remind humanity that anyone can stand firm even after the world turns against them as long as they got God on their side. And what an auditory experience that reminder is.
