AFC Leopards will be out to register their 3rd consecutive win when they host Sofapaka in a League match in Kakamega this Wednesday.
Ingwe has been on resurgence on the back of two wins, against Sony Sugar and Tusker FC, a run that has left them 14th on the Log on 16 points.
A winless run of six matches had left AFC Leopards languishing in the relegation zone, but wins against Sony Sugar and Tusker FC will be motivation enough when they play 2009 KPL, Champions Sofapaka at the Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega.
Sofapaka sits in the 3rd position with 14 points above Ingwe, and a win away to AFC Leopards will see it go top of the table, a point ahead of current leaders Bandari.
The Dockers registered their 1st loss in seven matches, after going down 2-1 against Ulinzi Stars in Nakuru.
In other matches set for Wednesday, Western Stima play hosts to Chemelil Sugar at the Moi stadium in Kisumu City, while Kariobangi Sharks clash against Nzoia Sugar at the Kasarani stadium.
A goalless draw against Posta Rangers on Saturday leaves Sharks 5th on the Log, 6 points ahead of Nzoia Sugar who sit 11th.
Meanwhile, Kenyan Premier League has turned down a request to postpone Gor Mahia’s mid-week encounter against Kakamega Homeboys.
The Kenyan champions are scheduled to face Homeboyz this Thursday, just three days before they take on Petro Atletico FC of Angola in a do or die encounter Group ‘D’ fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday at the Kasarani stadium in Nairobi City.
