Award-winning Tanzanian musician Diamond is encouraging his fans to keep working on their dreams despite the challenges that may lie ahead.

In a beautiful message, the “Zuwena” singer said that life is a journey full of challenges that we must overcome in order to reap the fruits of our labour. 

Diamond, who comes from humble beginnings, has often cited his success to God and hard work and keeping true to his beliefs, he encourages his fans to trust God despite their circumstances saying He is the only one who holds the secret of life.

Adding, “if you are a musician don’t tire of singing, if you’re an actor, don’t tire of acting, if you’re doing business, do not get tired. No matter your talent, don’t stop fighting. God will one day open the world to you and you will taste the fruits of your labour.”

It is unclear what brought on this moment of reflection but it is an important life lesson to keep in mind. 

Since his breakthrough song “Kamwambie” in 2010, Diamond has gone on to win numerous awards and achieve many firsts including a nomination from BET for “Best International Act” in 2014, signing a record deal with Universal Music Group in 2017 and becoming the first African musician to reach a combined total of one billion views on YouTube.
