Beneath The Baobabs Festival set for December in Kilifi
Kenya’s alternative New Year festival, Beneath The Baobabs Festival, is back in Kilifi this 30th December 2022 - 1st January 2023. The festival management including Julie Olum (Head of marketing) and Matthew Swallow (Creative director) were in Nairobi, for a Nairobi media launch of the festival that took place at KO Craft Room.
The media launch event was attended by various artists and personalities including Maya Amolo, DJ Paps and Blocka Beats; all who are also expected to perform at the festival. Other top personalities in attendance included Comedian Mammito Eunice, Radio Host Wanjira Longauer, members of The Sandwich Podcast and Captain Joyce ‘Smiles’ Beckwith.
"Beneath The Baobabs Festival" is recognized as the leading ambassador for Counter Culture and Alternative Music, Art and Performance at the Coast of Kenya.
