Trump released a long list of pardons just a night before Joe Biden’s inauguration
American rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black have been pardoned by outgoing President Donald Trump. Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was charged late last year with possession of a firearm and ammunition. His pardon comes after the rapper supported Trump in his bid for reelection.
Kodak Black, real name Bill Kapri, also made the list of pardons. He will now be freed from prison after serving one year in prison for falsifying information on federal forms to buy four firearms from a Miami gun shop on two separate occasions.
President-elect Joe Biden is set to be inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States today.
