Manhunt underway for brothers who allegedly killed father in Kisii

Police have launched a major manhunt for two brothers who allegedly killed their father in Kisii.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Boniface Osoro Saisi alias Bob and Getaro Osoro descended on their 60-year-old father with a slasher and a knife inflicting deep cuts on his left collar bone, chest and right wrist.

Shock and grief have engulfed Kiamisiori Bogetunya village in Kisii, following the heinous act that took place Sunday morning.

The duo escaped immediately after they realised their dad had died of excessive bleeding. The detectives who have intensified a search for the attackers recovered the murder weapons on the scene.

“Police have intensified search for the two killer sons, as probe continues to establish the motive behind the deadly attack,” said the DCI on Twitter.

Members of the public have been asked to volunteer any information that may assist in the arrest of the suspects.

“Should you have information that may assist in the arrest of these suspects, call our toll-free hotline 0800 722 203” the DCI appealed.
