Azimio La Umoja Presidential running mate Martha Karua has called for tolerance during the campaign rallies ahead of the August polls.
Karua who led the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition team in a campaign tour of Chogoria and Chuka in Tharaka Nithi County, urged political opponents to exercise mutual respect irrespective of their divergent ideologies saying the August polls will come and go but Kenyans will still need each other.
The Narc Kenya leader who was accompanied by Agriculture CS Peter Munya and Murang’a Woman Rep Sabina Chege among others, said that Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition will fight corruption once it assumes power.

She called on other leaders to desist from luring the youth with handouts to disrupt political rallies organized by their opponents.
She said Raila’s decision to pick her as his running mate was a confirmation that the former Prime Minister had the interests of Central Kenya at heart.
She spoke as she embarked on the third day of Azimio campaigns since her unveiling as Raila Odinga’s running mate last Sunday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
