Mayienga, Ingo, Iftiin radio stations in joint anniversary celebrations

Five thousand shillings shopping voucher was up for grabs to fans of each of the three FM stations affiliated to the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as they celebrated a joint anniversary.

Radio Mayienga, Radio Ingo and Iftiin all took to the airwaves on the 10th of November.

It was a celebration not only for KBC staff serving in the three FM stations for also for their fans who has something to take home.

The stations all hitting the airwaves on the 10th of November saw it fit to hold a joint celebration to reflect on the journey they have travelled in serving their local audiences.

The fans too had to partake in this cake with each pocketing 5-thousand shillings shopping voucher for being loyal and supporting their worthy course of creating an informed society.

Radio Maiyenga broadcasting on 93.5 fm in Dholuo language hit the airwaves on October 27th, 2011, Radio Ingo 100.5fm broadcasting in Luhya was launched in November 10th, 2012, and Iftiin 101.9 fm broadcasting in Somali is now two years old.
