mCHEZA enters local sports betting boom

By Buckley Fedha

Soccer fans in Kenya who are above 18 years will now have another choice of betting after Acumen Communication Limited announced its partnership with Intralot International Company to introduce mCHEZA, a sports gaming to join Sportpesa, Bet Way and Bet 365 Limited among others, who are already in the market.

mCHEZA chief Executive Officer Peter Karimi said  the partnership will invest 15 million US Dollars across Africa over the next three years in order to raise the profile and impact of sports gaming in this region, and put their money on football games across 277 leagues globally.

Former renowned TV news anchor, Julie Gichuru, who is the Acumen Communication Limited director, noted that mCHEZA will scout for and uplift Kenya’s highly talented but less fortunate young footballers.

The official launch of the mCHEZA betting game will be held this Friday at the Impala Club Ground, Ngong Road in Nairobi.
