Drama ensued at the Migori county education offices Wednesday, when Members of the County Assembly stormed the offices demanding the release of bursary cheques.
The MCAs had earlier interrupted Wednesday’s proceedings in the assembly accusing County executive officers of corruption.
Migori County MCAs are the latest to be on the spot light for the wrong reasons just days after their Nyandarua Counterparts clashed with security officers in the assembly as they attempted to impeach their speaker.
The MCAs invaded offices where they claim the bursary cheques were being hidden breaking down safe cabinets as they searched for the same.
The MCAs claims there is favoritism and discrimination in the issuance of bursary saying cronies of the Governor were being favoured.
However the County Public administrator Domnic Akugo dismissed the claims of favoritism saying there was delay in the release of funds from the National Government.
The MCAs latter took off with the files to the assembly premises where they swore to table a motion to impeach the County Executive Committee member in charge of education who was not in office during the chaos.
