Migori OCPD collapses and dies

Migori OCPD Moses Chepyegon is dead.

The officer is said to have collapsed in his office but was pronounced dead on arrival at the Migori County Referral Hospital.

The sudden death of the OCPD threw the county into mourning.

Migori Governor Okoth Obado said that the county had lost a hardworking officer.

“Our OCPD collapsed in his office and when he was taken to the hospital the doctors said he died from a massive heart attack,” he said and added, “the doctors did their best.”

The police boss is said to have collapsed in his office before being rushed to the Migori County Referral Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Governor Obado said the doctors tried frantically to resuscitate him to no avail.

The County Police boss David Kirui, the police officer suffered an acute heart attack.

He said the police officer was well and had not shown any signs of illness.

Kirui mourned the officer saying he was a dedicated officer, while Governor Obado urged the public to continue keeping the peace.

“Since his posting here, Chepyegon has distinguished himself as a dedicated officer who brought the crime levels to a bear minimum,” said the governor.
