MKU delegation in Nigeria to explore new partnerships

A delegation of senior officials from Mount Kenya University recently visited Nigeria to explore new partnerships and student exchange opportunities.

Led by Prof. Peter Wanderi, Principal, Corporate Services, the delegation also met the Emir of Bungudu, Zamfara state, His Royal Highness, Hassan Attahiru, MFR.

The Emir welcomed the prospects of MKU venturing into the Nigerian market, noting that there is an inadequate number of international private universities in the Northern States of the country.

MKU is keen on expanding its students’ network in the country of 190 million people, particularly through the online platform.

The MKU delegation also visited the Federal University of Gusau and paid a courtesy call on Prof Magaji Garba, the Vice Chancellor. Prof. Garba and Prof. Wanderi discussed the possibility of the two universities establishing linkages in near future.
