The Ministry of Health has assured the health and safety of all delegates attending the Africa Climate Change Summit, scheduled for September 4th to 6th in Nairobi.
The summit is expected to host a diverse array of attendees from around the world.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry stated that the organizers have put in place measures including health precautions, emergency response, and public health inspections to provide a secure environment for all participants.
Further, the health ministry will avail Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ambulances for the dignitaries.
Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances will also be stationed at all event locations to provide immediate medical assistance to delegates in case of emergencies
To cater to the varying needs of delegates, health clinics will be strategically located to ensure easy accessibility for all participants, including those with special needs.
To further bolster emergency response, five ambulances will be on standby in strategic locations throughout the event venue.
Public health teams will conduct thorough inspections of all accommodations to ensure compliance with health standards and the absence of any medical-related concerns.
