More Kenyans to get affordable cleft lip surgeries

An international children’s charity that supports free cleft repair surgery is investing in boosting the capacity of cleft and reconstructive surgeons in Sub-Saharan Africa. Smile Train, a cleft charity, has amplified its partnership with the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa with a view to narrowing down the gap of people who lack access to safe and affordable surgical care, which stands at over 5 billion.
