More than 1000 dead, 1500 injured in the Afghanistan earthquake

The death toll in Afghanistan has risen to 1000 after a massive 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit the South Eastern provinces of Paktika and Khost. The earthquake which is the worst the country has experienced in decades has also left more than 1500 people injured with the death toll expected to rise as rescue continue.
