Motorist who rear-ended police cruiser in Kisumu mentally ill

A motorist who repeatedly rear-ended a white police land cruiser has been arrested and taken to hospital for further treatment after he was found to be psychologically unwell.

According to the National Police Service, the suspect is a renowned advocate based in Kisumu.

The incident happened in Kisumu town Wednesday afternoon when the driver deliberately hit the police vehicle on patrol.

“This unfortunate action, which was conceived to be an act of terror led to a swift reaction by the police who promptly demobilized the vehicle by deflating its tyres,” NPS said.

NPS through their Twitter page noted that they took note of the video circulating on social media involving a motorist in a saloon car deliberately and repeatedly rear-ending a white land cruiser vehicle at a roundabout.
