Multi-agency security team in Marsabit recovers stolen livestock

Forty-three sheep, five goats, and five cows have been recovered after a multi-agency security team in Marsabit County engaged in various successful law enforcement activities.

On 2nd July 2022, the team conducted intensive patrols within Turusi Area in Laisamis and recovered sheep and goats that had earlier been reported stolen.

In addition, the security team also proceeded to Shurr Area and recovered five cows that had strayed from their grazing field in Jaldesa Area.

The National Police Service on their social media page thanked the local communities for partnering with them and volunteering information leading to the successful recovery of the livestock.
